Description

Antoine Tava reimagines the iconic Ludo Fox through a Renaissance lens, transforming him into a master artist alongside Michelangelo and the greats of that era. In this striking piece, Ludo is depicted as a sculptor, chiseling away at his own likeness - a self-portrait that emerges as the Ludo Fox Roman Bust. Armed with a hammer, chisels, and paintbrushes, he carves his legacy with precision and artistry.

Known for his vibrant use of color, Tava takes a bold new direction with this piece, embracing a black-and-white palette to capture the timeless elegance of classical Italian sculptures. As Tava develops The Sculptor, he draws inspiration from his travels to Italy. Rome, one of his favourite cities, holds a special significance, as he visits it annually without fail. Inspired by its rich artistic heritage, he reimagines the iconic Ludo cartoon figure, transforming him into roman-style busts with a unique and modern twist.
